i am 14. 12 weeks pregnant.
How should I have my child?
What are risks?
Pros and cons?
Trying to be prepared!!

well, a lot of doctors dont give you the choice. Csection is major surgery, has a longer recovery period.

go for a vaginal birth. You can do it, build a support group.

i wanted vaginal birth desperatley but ended up having a c section... PP is right docs by me wont give u a choice ecspecially if its ur first delivery... my baby wouldnt drop so i could of pushed for a whole week my doc said and my daughter wouldnt of come out my vag... so i was left with no option... i hope u get a vag delivery!! much quicker recovery time..

Unless theres a medical reason then everyone here has to go natural birth and its prerty much the same eberywhere.

As pp said, usually if there is no medical reason for you to have a section you won't be offered one. Vaginal birth is a lot easier on recovery, and as others have said a c section is a major operation.

Xx

C-sections can save lives. Remember that. Having a vaginal birth is the first course of action for the vast majority of pregnancies. However, feeling that a vaginal birth is the only way can cost a life. Can't stop thinking of a recent tragedy that I read about.

I was the same i was 16 when i fell pregnant with my first and gave birth at 17 but i done it and i loved and hated but i would change it for the world. I dine the same with my second baby and im doing the same with this one as well. I also done them on gas and air and thats it. I wouldnt ask for anything else and i wouldnt have it any other way unless i really had to. As soon as the baby is outu forget all about the pain. And no means causing to this but there is nothing like going through the oregnancy, kabour and not seeing what it is like at the end. The hard bit is beibg in labour not giving birth itsekf. I hope u think of which one u will have. Good luck hun xx

I would give anything to have a vaginal birth. I had a EMCS and it was awful and I'm dreading my upcoming planned CS (I can't have a VBAC because of complications during my last section). The recovery was awful, I was months before I could get back to my normal life and when I moved the wrong way I had pain in my scar for over a year. Now I have to have another CS and for 6 weeks after at the very least, I'm not going to be able to pick up and fully care for my toddler. CS's have their place in emergencies or health concerns for mom and/or baby, but it is major surgery and should not be done unless necessary.

You're 14?????

Doctors won't give you a choice i'm afraid, vaginal it will be unless there are complications outside of your control.

I would def recommend vaginal delivery due to recovery from c/s
