C-section scar pain & head pressure

Hi ladies, I'm going to talk to my midwife but wondered if any of you could shed some light on whether this is normal at all?

I had an emergency section just over 2 years ago with my little boy, no problems at all, scar barely visible, healed amazingly, was up & shopping a few days later.
I'm now 16 weeks 1 day and for the last week I keep having pains inside where my scar is, it's either a dull but sudden strong ache on my left, or a shooting sharp pain across the whole thing. Is this just scar tissue stretching? Or should I get it checked? It seems to subside a little if I relax, but while I'm at work it's there 75% of the time.

Also, since I've had this pain, I keep getting a pressure pain in my head, only lasts a few seconds, but really hurts! Like the night before last it woke me up & I thought my head was being squashed! Could these be related? Is this pain even down to pregnancy?! I just want to feel a little normal again now! I'm very grateful baby is 100% healthy but these first 16 weeks have really taken their toll on me!

I haven't had any pain like that, but every now and then I get a mild sharp pain on the right of my scar, though it never lasts for more than a moment or two. I had more issues with that side healing in the first place so with me I think could well be related to stretching.

No idea about any head pain. Could be completely unrelated possibly?

I haven't had any scar pain tbh. I had problems after my C-Section and it took me over a year to be somewhat pain free.
I would ask someone about it. Can't hurt.

Thanks, I see my midwife next week and if it doesn't get bad again I'll just mention it then, I've had today & yesterday off of work and barring yesterday morning had no pain at all, and I've been very lazy since my toddler doesn't want to sleep at the minute so I'm thinking maybe I was overdoing the lifting etc at work...will see how I am the next two days at work & go from there!

Must be something in the air, DS is refusing to sleep for the 3rd night in a row. Completely wearing me down. Dread to think what time he'll finally sleep this time.

Lol must be an age thing! Hopefully they snap out of it soon. My brain is frying with no sleep, morning sickness returning, work exhausting me and SPD getting terrible again!

Thankfully he finally gave in just after 9. We're thinking that we might have a surge in talking from me, either that or he's about to figure out how to jump.

You've got it much worse than me, hope you can hang in there.

I don't have any pain from my scar because everything is numb.

I would mention it though just to be safe. The only pain I am getting is hip and round ligament, which is much higher up than my scar (which is very low just above the pubic hair line).

It's not on my skin where it hurts, it's where my scar is but inside. My scar is also numb. I haven't had the pain very much the last few days thankfully. I have a midwife appointment Wednesday so I will still mention it. My SPD had been terrible this week too. I'm dreading baby getting bigger !
