c section scar

hi looking for advice for a friend she had a c-section 2 months ago and is looking for tips on how to reduce the redness and itching, she tried bio oil byt didnt like the greasy feel any ideas

Can her doc prescribe something?
Or did she try emu oil? May be like bio oil though.

I went to the doc who prescribed a hydrocortisol cream, called pinficort, sorry about the spelling but yeah it stang a bit like ointment does on sore skin but it worked and helped heaps, so ask your doc. Bio oil helps but can aggravate it, i only use it for my stretch marks, i prefer the prescribed cream for the scar, so yeah ask your GP
