Calling all Mums of cloth bummed babies :)

Im a 1st time mum, so everything is new to me and at the moment i am using disposable nappies but really would like to try reusables. I don't know much about them and was wondering whether you lovely ladies can give me a bit of info about them for example, the price, are there better or worse at absorbing wee and poo than disposables, any leakages, what brands would you recommened etc. Any info you can give me will be a massive help. Thankyou

You can weigh up for yourself which might suit you as each one suits different babies differently, and what works for some doesnt work for others

also just to add check whther your counicl run an incentive scheme you might be able to get a voucher towards the cost of a nappy or two. There's a thread with some listed i'll go grab it....

Ooooh, good luck on your cloth adventures!! Beware - it's very addictive!!
One little point - it's well worth checking on the Cloth swap & sell section in here (it's a sticky at the top of the page) and on Cloth Nappy Tree. You can buy some preloved nappies and it will save you lots of pennies xxxx

Didn't know this existed! mwahahaha...thats an excuse for 2 more nappies at least and through that have just found that my town has a natural parenting type fashion show coming up...wooo! thanks Donna x
