Sharing this here (and on the baby forum) as it is one of the most helpful things I've ever read!
I've been worrying for ages about how much (or how LITTLE) cow's milk, water, food, etc. my baby consumes and how much she still seems to breastfeed at nearly 13 months. She barely drinks anything other than breast milk straight from the breast. She often eats just a few bites of food and then seems to be done. The concept of three meals and three snacks a day has mostly fallen flat for us.
All around me, I seem to see and hear about babies younger than mine who eat loads and chug fluids like it's going out of fashion. It's such a relief to know my child is in fact normal and just taking her time getting to grips with more grown-up forms of nutrition! She is definitely a 'grazer', like this article describes. She's also been teething four molars for three months.
There must be other mums out there with LOs like mine. I'd love to hear from you!
