im just wondering if anyone can help me, we are planning on telling hubbys parents that we are having a baby on christmas day. and im going to get them a card personalized for them, saying
'congratulations on becoming grandparents'
and i was hoping to put a little poem in it but im not a poet and i havnt got a clue where to start.
has anyone got a little poem i can borrow or any ideas what i can put in the card.

here is a poem i wrote may give u some ideas i hope

babies

babies are wonderful things
with all the love and joy they bring
their first smile makes u beam the sweetest thing youve ever seen
the first step that they take
you are so glad they can make
the little chuckles that they do
when all you do is cutchy cutchy coo
hands so tiny feet so small
eyes so bright like the stars
and babies are wonderful gifts
that come from heaven above
and each day i thank the lord for bringin me mine
and pray for the ones that dont get to enjoy this special gift
so thank you lord high above im so very glad
for the three beautiful kids i have

let me give you a clue..
It's small and it's pink
and occasionally can stink
It can cry and giggle
or sleep or wriggle
Merry Christmas Grandma!
Merry Christmas Grandpa!

ok...it's terrible I'll admit.
Seems I'm not a poet either!heheh
