Can anyone recommend a good bottle warmer?

I bought the Avent IQ one the other day thinking it would be excellent but it is rubbish. I am taking it back today.

I want one for the bedroom on a night as tiredness and boiling water don't mix well for me so no kettles!

I have the boots one, seems to do the job and had no problems yet.

ive had no probs with the avent express one  warms a 4 oz bottle in a couple of mins

Is that the digital one which you set the oz and if it is room temp or from the fridge?

Unless i got a dodgy one!

I got the tommee tippee one because it was on offer and i think its good !!!

nope, i was given it by a friend so its an older version. but it looks like this https://www.kidsmoda.com/image/feeding/230130843.jpg

you just turn the dial to the size of bottle you have, and make sure the water inside is above the level of the milk.

i have the lindam night & day feeding system, 30 from argos, but it has a warmer, and a cooler than can fit 2 bottles for at night, i LOVE mine. & the warmer, you only put a tiny bit of water in,it takes about 4-5 mins for a 6/7 oz bottle

xxx

Thanks ladies. I went for boots own in the end, similar to that one Mandylou.

The Avent IQ one is a brilliant idea but they haven't got it right and for £40 they need to get it right!

That one sounds good Jennifer, will have a look at that.

We have that one ^ and its absolute shite! Takes a good 20 mins to warm up bottle not the 5 or so minites it advertises on box. Think we're going to get the digital Avent one thats £39.99 in Mothercare
xx

Sorry, but I think bottle warmers are rubbish! But if not using the kettle is more of a priority than speed, then maybe they're useful...

No, thats the one i returned today, it is crap. Doesn't work at all!! Bottle is hot and milk is freezing.

With our first 2 we used to take a flask of boiling water to bed and a jug.
With our daughter now though we use the microwave, much quicker, less messy and no we don't have problems with "hot spots" as the milk is shaken and tested prior to giving it.

Sauce pan of boiling water works the best I find but I do have the advent basic bottle warmer (just plug it in job) that I got in a sale for £5 and I find it warms the bottles in a few mins overnight. Wouldn't have wanted to pay more than a fiver for it though... X

I wish I'd been brave enough to start using the microwave when LO was still having night feeds. I had a TT bottlewarmer for the night and it was OK, but it's hard to keep a hungry baby from waking OH up for the 7-8 mins it took to warm a 7oz bottle! I could've done it in 45 secs in the microwave!

We use the Boots one as well and it has been absolutely fine. We use cartons at night (kitchen is a long way from the bedroom so have cartons and bottle warmer upstairs for night feeds) and by the time I've changed LO's nappy it's pretty much done.
