Can anyone walk me through using known donor sperm via a clinic?

Hey everyone,

So, I'm hoping to start TTC this year and I absolutely want to have a known donor. I'm also leaning towards going through a clinic as opposed to the home route. Has anyone gone through this who could walk me through:

1) how it works
2) how much time it takes from the first appointment to actually being able to start TTC

And can anyone recommend lesbian-friendly services in Sydney, Australia?
