Can clear blue tests be wrong?

I'm 17 days late for my period and have all the signs but I took a clear blue test this morning and it was negative. Not sure what to do now. Anyone had this problem with them??

Hi didnt want you hanging around in pregnancy groups and discussions with no replies and worrying yourself. I havent had any experience to share...sorry....but wanted to recommend that you post your question/concern in a better forum...perhaps first trimester might be good to explain your circumstances and see if anyonecan help....
