Can GP's prescribe clomid?

I'm having my cd21 bloods (progestrone levels) done this friday......8 days prior to my predicted cycle start date.....doctor said 7 days before but this falls on weekend and bank holiday - do you think it'll matter too much?

Also GP said if not ovulating then might need clomid or something like that......can they prescribe it or do you need a referral to specialist before getting it? Anyone know what happens? Thanks xx

think it depends on were you live hun my gp doesn't prescribe mine to me its my fertility consultant xx
