Sorry for the pointless thread but just confused..
I want to order some things off the internet but were moving soon so dont want them to come here..
So i was going to put my mil's address down instead..however i know if shes not in ill havta collect them and show id..will this be a problem as my address wont be the same..?
Confused!

cant your mum pay and have them delivered in her name that way if she isnt in then you can take her id and collect? But you are right in saying that if it goes there you wont be able to collect as you have no id at that address

It should be fine. Ive never had to show proof of address when picking up a parcel. Just show my bank card or passport and they make sure names match.

I dont really want her to pay as then shell see what im spending..not that its alot but still..also itd mean i havta wait til i see her next as she doesnt use the internet..i could put her name on the address too but that means shell havta pick it up for me too and as im ordering from america ill havta pay custom charges..ah buhger it..my oh lived at the address for years so should be ok..i guess if they get strict ill just kindly ask her to.collect it for me..thanks ladies x

I had to pick up a parcel from delivery office today and just showed my bank card as Id

I've ordered off my Mums card before and had it delivered to mine so you can definitely get it sent somewhere else

Xx

They just need picture id. My mom orders from amazon for us all the time and I've never had any issues with her sending them here.
