Hi im new to this section, have just recently split with my husband of nearly 14 years and have 4 kids and another little girl on the way in the next 4-6wks.

Really scarey though doing it all on my own how do you all cope?
Im going to be 30 divorced single parent of 5, how things change in a year in fact up untill 6wks ago we were working through things untill it all came crashing down!

hey! welcome i'm sorry to hear of your spilt with your husband.. xx I split from my ex nearly three years ago! and it was bloody hard! at first but now i'm loving it! and if im honest i'm happier on my own! no man to tell me what to do! or sit and do nothing all day! no man to expect me to look after him and do everything for him! and do nothing around the house, and spend my money! i can buy what i like, do what i like! also I dont have to share my bed with anyone.. but i admit sometimes it can be lonely! but with your kids, its the best thing ever....xxx

Hello. :wave: I am sorry to hear about your seperation. I'd like to say it gets easier but its still early days. I dont mind being on my own, I am actually enjoying it. I get to do what I want and I need to learn to be a little less hard on myself.

I hope if there is anything you need us single parents in here can help you.
