Just wondering if I can use an electric heating pad on low setting?

Or medium heat? Im using low heat and it's not really helping at all

It depends on where you're using it...I wouldn't recommend using it ever on your tummy or pelvic region, or at least no longer than 10 minutes at a time. For any other part of your body, you could get away with using it on a medium setting...your back, hip, head, etc.

I asked my dr. about this very early on as I was having a lot of back pain and she said it was totally fine to use a heating pad. I was worried because it was so early it was during the neural tube development (when raiding your body temp is most risky to the fetus), but she said it was fine.

I sat on one once, and I got very painful period cramps. I won't go near one now.

patchy, that is strange I will look out for that!

well I used it on medium heat for probably about 15 minutes, on my side/middle back and it really did the job. I didn't feel like my body was getting too warm so I think I am okay, and Maybel is kicking away. :) Thank you ladies
