Hi all,

I had my cd 21 blood work done on Friday, and am waiting for my doctor to call back with the results-just wondering, could this test detect pregnancy? I'm seeing a bunch of conflicting info everywhere I look. I said I wouldn't get my hopes up this month-almost a year of ttc, and it never fails-every month I think I'm pregant. :(. Wishful thinking...

No, It doesn't.
It gives hormone levels yes, but hcg levels would not be detectable at this early time in the cycle.
What they are checking is to make sure you ovulated. That is what the progesterone will tell them.
