LO is just over 9 months and LOVES food. Today I got home after being out all day to realise there wasn't a lot of food in the fridge that she could have so chucked together some veg, cheese, breadsticks etc for her.

Just realised there's some fish fingers in the freezer and wondered if she could have them? I've always associated fish fingers with being unhealthy but surely with mash and peas rather than chips and beans they're ok?

Any other ideas for quick healthy lunch/dinner also welcome here as I think she's getting fed up of mash, sweet potato, tortellini, mash, sweet potato... :)

Im hopeless for ideas but im sure fish fingers would be fine now and then x

I saw someone ask the same thing on the BLW forum and a poster said that the salt content isn't too bad as it would only be an occasional tea. I was looking for info on this too. Not a big fish fan but want to give Lo the option of it. I've made fishcakes myself but it'd be handy to have them in the freezer ready to go for a quick lunch / dinner.

I would just check the salt content, but otherwise it should be fine!

I would personally take off the outside and just give her the fish x

Yeah their fine, BTW beans are just as good for you as peas.
