can this cause diarrhea?

I recently switched my little ones formula from powder to liquid concentrate. I've done this on Sunday. It's the exact same formula but just different preparation. She's had a couple of runny stools today. Is it possible it's caused by this change?

Its possible. Have you checked the ingredients to see if they are the same? However it could be entirely unconnected. Either continue with the liquid and watch and wait as long as lo isn't in distress or go back to the powder and retry liquid at a later date. Throw out any liquid if its open past its use by time...

Yes, it's entirely possible. When my son drinks powdered, he's fine, but when he drinks the ready-made liquid, his stools are loose. They go back to normal when we switch back to powder.
