I'm 11+3 baby is measuring 11+4 but anyways, a few times I'll be listening to the heartbeat and hear a thump! Today I heard it, so listen a little longer and heard Thump thump (hit twice) I know they move around there, and surely if the doppler can pick up a tiny heartbeat it can make the sound of a kick? Just wondering if this happened to anyone else

Yes its probably ur Lo kicking. When I first got my doppler I didn't realise that and when I first heard the hb at about 8 and a half weeks id get really annoyed at the bashing noises as they stooped me hearing the hb. As they got more frequent I realised that it was our Lo kicking that I was getting annoyed at! They will get louder and more frequent, now if I put the doppler on my tummy she kicks right back at it!

I figured that was, what it was! YAY
Baby also likes to move away ALOT from the doppler.

Hey, I just posted something similar to this today. I've been hearing kicks on the Doppler for nearly a week now, and since the beginning of week 12 I've started to feel little flutters that correlate with kicks that I hear on the Doppler. Awesome isn't it :happydance:

Defo souns like kicks!

Took me 15 mins to find a galloping horse heartbeat, within 5 seconds, there were thuds and squiggles and the baby had moved lol. My son never liked the doppler either.

My baby hates the doppler! They kept swimming away from it and we didnt hear heartbeat, but to hear baby move away and kick made me laugh :)

YES! I was able to find baby's heartbeat until about this week, and everytime I can find "her" she kicks and then moves. :D Even though I can't listen to much of her HB, it always makes me and daddy laugh, because she's just like me <3

It's lovely isnt it. U might start to feel pressure coming back on the doppler that correlates with the kicks, I guess i started to feel that quite gently around 12 weeks. X x
