can you make rice pudding with cows milk under a year

My dear son is almost 7 months I would like to start feeding him home cooked rice pudding. UK advice is not to give babies cows milk to babies under 12 months. Is it okay because the milk will be cooked?

Yes you can use cows milk in cooking, in mash, cereal etc. Its only as a drink you need to wait till 12 months.
