Can you ovulate without EWCM or a positive OPK?

Just wondered this .... its nearly time for me to OV (Tues) and there is still no EWCM and no positive on the OPK. Just wondered if you could still ovulate without these two signs?

I am sure you can O w/out the ewcm but not sure about the opk part.

Was there NO cm or just none that you would class as EWCM? Ultimately, I think you CAN ovulate without it but it's the most sperm friendly. And as far as I'm aware, you can ovulate without a positive opk for any number of reasons.

Im in a similar situation, ive had watery cm all week and no EW, tested neg on every OPK i used too.. So either i just didnt Ov, or the tests are wrong and I did but missed it.. or I am oving super late this cycle..

All in all im kinda thinking this is definately not my month Its the not knowing part that sucks..

Yes, you can ovulate without those two things. If you don't have much EWCM I recommend getting some Pre-seed.
Some women miss their LH surge which is why they might not get a positive OPK. It depends how much your surge lasts, if its quick you may not get your positive. But since you expect to O on Tuesday you still have a couple possible days you may get a positive.

You can ov without ewcm(or at least little enough that you dont notice you have it) hence why alot are resorting to preseed.
Also some may not get the ewcm at the same time as ov, I get mine about 5 days before (stupid cm).
Im guessing some woman probably can ov without getting pos opk if there hormons are low and it may not pick it up with some women (but thats just an educated guess)

Hi there, watery and clear is still fertile, but EWCM is basically the best. You could easily have missed it as well as the positive OPK, unless you temp twice a day. The main way to know you ov'd is consistent temp rises - or of course a baby! x

its like i wrote this.... i am wondering the same thing.... this is my first month ttc and all i got is watery cm but with a kinda whitish color in it....i have one more opk test left it i better get that smiley tomorrow....

Its creamy CM not EW, tho I think I had EW a few days ago (for one "wipe" only - sorry TMI!), but no way was it in time for OV (and I was also testing OPK which were negative). Just done another OPK and its negative. My cycle was 37 days after coming off pill, then 37, then 32, and last month 28 so had assumed it had settled down tho perhaps it hasn't after all! I am also taking Agnus Castus for 1st time this month (tho I will probably be the first BFN on that thread and soy isoflavones, royal jelly, evening primrose and folic acid and also charting temps too. I can't do much more!
