hi,

I've read a lot about OPK's getting darker, mine only have a faint line.

Is it still possible to get a BFP even though the line on a OPK is still light?

My temperature is still high, still have very sore breasts and nipple, less cramps/twinges but have a runny nose and a sinus headache.

I think I'm now 10 dpo.

thanks x

i'm unsure really..... normally OPKs get darker because they can pick up on both HCG and LH... So i dunno really. i say dont keep checking stuff out on OPKs cause it racks ur brains. just do a test in 2 days :)

Well, I'll try to explain it. The hormones in your body during O is HCG's twin. The hormones "looks" exactly the same, except that the HCG-twin wears a funny hat. The OPK's identify both twins, because they look the same. But the HCG-test looks for the twin with the funny hat. That means that in theory, the OPK should tell if your pregnant or not. The problem is, since your only 10 DPO, the OPK could pick up the other twin (HCG) but still be very faint, because of the small amount. So I wouldn't relay on the OPK alone. I hope you understand my explanation, and bad English ;)
