Just wanted to let you ladies who wished me well with my first IVF consultation know what happened yesterday.......

I've been put on the short protocol and we actually started treatment yesterday in the clinic!! :happydance:

I've put the whole story in my journal for anybody who wants the details

Hi there

I haven't met you before (i'm pretty new over here) but just wanted to say congrats on your wonderful news! You sound sooooo excited!

Good luck with the IVF, will be keeping my fx for ya :hugs:

Thats great news :). What are the indicators for being on a short protocol...I've always wondered since hearing about them. Good luck this cycle and look forward to hearing how you go :hugs:

Nice one Mrs R ... you'll be PUPO in no time at all...

Yeah Mrs R great news!!!! all the best I really hope it works for you loads of love xxxxxxx

Thanks girls, I still can't quite believe I've actually started treatment, 4 days later!

Everything has been so simple and hassle-free. I thought by this stage in an IVF cycle I'd be ready to explode from all the stress. But the fact that it has come around so quickly has eliminated all the stress and I'm feeling great! I will never use the NHS again lol

That is just fantastic news. I wish you all the best in your IVF journey :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

What brilliant news Mrs R - good luck with the treatment and fx for your BFP! :dust:
