Can't pin point Ovulation using OPKs & BBTs

I'm TTC #1. I've been charting for four months now. I have regular cycles, 28 days and fertility friend has always pin pointed my ovulation at CD 15. However, this month I used internet cheapie OPKs for the first time and got +ve on CD11 pm and CD12 am. All the signs pointed to ovulation around cd12 or 13 (excm, cervix position, spotting, etc.) so this month fertility friend said I o'd cd12!

I thought you ovulated around the same time each month. So now I'm not sure if we bd on the right days.

I wish I had an answer for you, but I am having the same difficulty pinpointing my o. I am not charting, but I keep peeing on these opks. . . Beginning to wonder if I can't pee positive on any stupid stick. Good luck!
