cant snip ptt :-(

Saw midwife today who suggested I may get told they can't snip my 10 day olds posterior tongue tie as its too hard to see but can be felt.

I'm at the hospital tomorrow tosort referral. But I'm worried as feeding is so painful.

Oh no! Fingers crossed they can do something hun. Phoebe had a suspected tongue tie and we had awful problems latching at first. She cried, i cried, my nipples were wrecked. Then it was decided she didnt have tongue tie. Had a lot of help from a bf expert at hospital and finally made it work.

Really hope u get some help, just remember each day u continue nursing is amazing for her BUT there is absolutely nothing wrong with ff. Because a happy mummy is the most importabt thing for baby!! X

I would wait and see at the appointment. A lot of midwives are doomsday about these things when it really isn't for them to say xx

They can't snip it as the tie is very small but thick and they may damage her tongue. So I've got to see how we get on and take her back again.
