Its like an addiction mixed with panic! I get like this every year where I cant go out shopping without buying something for someone.

It is mostly for Gemma and Daisy though, I bought another couple of ITNG things today then paniced when I got home incase I had spent more on Daisy than Gemma in total!

So I dragged everything out and wrote it down added it all up

They have had the same amount spent on them but it is far too much,

I dont even know where I am going to keep it all once xmas is over!

My name is Andrea and I am a xmaspressieoholic...........

Lol bless you. I'm writing down every single thing i buy so i know exactly how much i spend. Otherwise i'll keep thinking another one won't hurt.. and i'll be seriously broke! x

I am the same. Not with lo as we are wtt but with oh!!!
I brought quite a bit off stuff off amazon and wasn't till i wrote down what i had ordered that i realised I had spent a fourtune! It is oh's Birthday in december to so have tried to buy enough to cover both. Am worrying that haven't broughtt enough one minute then worring how am going to pay credit card the next

My name is Nicki and i to am an xmas shopaholic!!!!

 next week you'll be telling us you picked up just two more things :haha:

im the same hun! ive bought so much that ive actually sat and thought..omg where is this stuff all gonna go! ive even put stuff behind for her bday on march 3rd!! lol

I'm as bad  I even had to open quite a few yesterday because I couldn't for the life of me remember what I'd bought

I really aren't buying anything else now except a dvd for DH and a dvd for Noah.

Then the kids need to buy each other a present and that's us done. Going to get them last bits in December though.

So have i .. i actaully have felt sick. Most is on credit card and i know i have gone alittle overboard , its not just for presents its for a x-mas decor too.
I have a really bad shopping addiction and i cant afford to do it!
Thankfully my family usually pop in £10 in x-mas cards for me so ill be chucking that straight back where it came from :dohh:

:hugs:
I rememebr that feeling, I did that a few years back and was still paying for that one xmas 2 years later :dohh:

I've paid for it mostly this year with selling unwanted stuff, I had tons of brand new stuff up my loft and loads of toys/clothes of Daisy's so it's not so bad, but I really do need to stop buying!

:hugs:

Lily wasnt geting anything else as she needs nothing but as u know i have just grabbed 2 bargains  ..yet Ethan asnt got much yet ...he as lots of cheaper pressies but no main one

LOL Serina, and because you grabbed a bargain means I can get something else! I am blaming you for my shopping addiction!

I have been like that too, mostly internet shopping! Panic thinking baby is nearly here and need to get it done and boredom lol! but its done now and i think hubby needs to take my cards away from me :S lol!

I'm the same, I can't stop.

We decided to get the older two main gifts and then a few little bits and some little toys for Ozzie.

However I've already spent £50 each on the older two and have more ideas. I haven't even got their main presents yet:blush:. I'm blaming it on it being their first Christmas that they really understand and it feels all magical to them... well that's what I'm sticking to anyway

I'm going to be paying this Christmas off till next Christmas I think:dohh:

I have always counted the gifts per each child rather than the amount I spent on each. Thing is, the kids are different in ages and what the older one wants is often a bit more expensive, which will be the case as she continues to get older.

HOWEVER, when they are older, they will definitely notice the price difference.

Needless to say though, I made a budget of a certain amount per each child this year. Some people may think it's high at $500 per child but it's very tough to do anything below it. And I've also tried to make sure the amount of gifts per each child is the same in quantity. Not doing so bad tbh.

And with 12 year olds to buy for, even tougher to keep below $500 as they want IPOD Touch, etc.!

Chase is the only one that will be well below that limit though and probably won't receive as many as Amanda and Jayden. Besides, I'm still trying to figure out what that little one likes to play with so am not buying and buying and finding out he's not interested in any of it. LOL

i am the same..except its sophia's 1st birthday on the 30th november, so i know im going to end up giving her all the presents for her birthday and buying her a load more for xmas, instead of sharing them out between both. in the last few months i dont think i have gone one day without buying at least one thing. lol

We said we weren't going mad with lottie this year as last year she got so much she didn't know what to do with it all! We ended up buying her a disney princess castle yesterday that DH couldn't resist, its in a huge box! I went to wrap the rest of her things and she has soo much, she will be having her presents from my mum on xmas day with her toys from us too so there's even more! I've decided not to wrap the princess castle and give it to her when baby arrives instead! She's a spoilt little lady but i can't resist! I only have a couple of bits for DH now x
