..."I love you, Mommy."

Last night I watched my best friend's two kids, her and her husband had a wedding to go to. They have a 3.5 year old boy (who was my ring bearer in Oct) and an 11 month old. When I tucked the 3.5 year old into bed after reading him a book, I gave him a kiss and he said "I love you, Auntie"....it was all I could do to keep from crying because it made me think of how I can't wait to hear, "I love you, Mommy."

I knew all of you TTC #1 could relate, so I had to share.

Awe, I know the feeling Lisa. I went round to my friend's new house today. She has two gorgeous girls and the older one of the two (3.5yrs old) took to me (quite a rare thing) and gave me the tour, chatted to me loads and insisted we hang out, play and read books together. Our friends said to my DH and I "ooo, broody". They have no idea!

I want a little girl! (Or boy... I am not fussy as long as he or she is healthy).

I can't wait to hear that aswell, my husband has 2 kids and always hearing love you daddy, but can't wait till I get to hear mommy aswell!!

My brother has a little girl of 5 months and whenever i see them i point to my brother and say "is that Daddy" and she gives him the most amazing smile!

I'll even take "Mama" out of my (hopefully soon) future baby's mouth. I won't even get mad if he/she says "Dada" first.
