Car seat question

I apologise if this is the wrong place to ask but figured it was the best bet.

We're buying a maxi cosi cabriofix new, we've been offered an easyfix isofix base to use with it. The base is approx 3 years old, does anyone know if this will still fit the car seat? I've emailed maxi cosi but unfortunately had no response.
