CD - Homemade Inserts

Just a question for you guys/gals.

I am making cds in the pocket type style to be use as AI2 or AIOs, and I was going to make the inserts out of Zorb 2.

I just can't decide whether to do a tri-fold insert, or make single layer fitted inserts that can be doubled etc up. I am leaning towards singles, but I have no experience with either...

Suggestions?

I made some inserts the other day and did small inserts that was 2-3 thin layers of some bamboo and hemp. I don't really like folded up inserts but couldn't tell you why as I'm not sure! I think if they are thick, the folded edges look bulky.

My preference is trifolds.
