CD17 smiley face but not for long??? What do you think....

So today is cd17, first round of clomid. Been having cramps for about 4 days, ewcm two days ago but negative opk. This morning i took a IC opk and was negative but darker than has been so i did a cb digi and got my smiley face! was so excited to see it i started jumping up and down!! I took another 4hrs later and no smiley face?! Do you think the surge was over or maybe it was a false positive? I really hope not, all the pains i had could not be nothing...could they??

I started using the clearblue opks last month, and got a smiley face on day 17 (with negative ic) and it was gone a few hours later. But then I did it again the next day and got a smiley again for 2 days in a row (confirmed this with positive ic's), so I'm assuming the first one was a false positive. I would keep testing for a couple days.
