Okay in a nutshell. I am regularish 28-29 days. Prob once a year i will have a cycle of 30-35 days maybe.
This cycle I am CD45. BFN x2. I am 99% sure I ovulated about day 16-17. So when I started to feel wet and noticed cm today I was interested. So i tested with opk. A line, not bold but it was there.
I have put the lateness of AF down to being ill around ovulation time and i know that can effect AF appearing. Now its getting confusing. I am so confused I am debating if i did get AF 2 weeks ago but have "forgot"
Could i have ovulated twice?
Does anyone agree with the myth of OPK detecting PG etc.

Was interested this morning, wanted to see if maybe I was ovulating. So took an OPK with FMU

Very strong line. It is as sturdy as the Control line.
I am confused. Maybe I am ovulating super duper duper late.

I'd be inclined to think you ovulated late due to your illness. You can't ovulate twice in a cycle (as in two seperate events more than 24 hours apart, but illness can set you back just because your body won't want to get to get pregnant when it couldn't cope.

I do use OPK's as a back-up test if you like, but my main way of telling if I've ovulated is by taking my BBT and then the test confirms what I'm reading in my temperatures. Mainly because you can have a LH surge where your body is trying to ovulate, but fails at the last minute and then tries again a few days (or more) later so a positive OPK doesn't necessarily mean you are actually ovulating.

I'd leave it a fortnight (assuming you are now ovulating) and keep an eye on yourself to see whether AF arrives, but if you're concerned at ALL go visit the GP and ask to be checked out. It's really not worth the delay in treatment if there is something wrong.

Thanks.

I am not sure what to think.

And over the last few days I have that phlegm in the throat/gagging feeling that, according to my googling, could be pg related.

I really wish that I could be of some help but i'm in the same situation. I haven't had a period since April. I'm now on cd 52 and 20 days late. I keep getting bfn on home preg test. I have been testing with ov tests to see if I ovulate this month. I know I did last month and we dtd. When Af was due in may I never had any symptoms and she never showed. I still have no signs of her coming. My doctor told me to wait to see if af shows up this month and if not to come in for a blood test. I'm so confused as to what is going on>
