Cd6, does this seem pretty dark for this early in the cycle?

I'm not real familiar with Ovulation test strips. I know this isn't a positive, however does it seem pretty dark for only being on CD6? Or do they not darken the closer you get to your surge? I just got them in the mail, so this is the first one I took. My cycles range from 25-28 days so it's possible that I O a little earlier than others. TIA for your input!

Mine are usually quite dark right after AF finishes but start to get lighter around cd8-10 then go dark again close to ovulation but I have longer cycles. I'd keep testing every day as you could ovulate early as you say. I believe with shorter cycles it's recommended that you test from CD10 onwards xx

Thanks! I thought that but I'm pretty sure the one month was on cd10 and I thought I was ovulating so I bought a test and it was definitely a positive. So I thought I would start testing a few days after my period ended. This is today's and I think it is darker and I'm starting to get crampy.

Oh yea, definitely! I started getting EWCM today so I think we will try to BD every other day from now until CD16.

This is todays test (CD8). Definitely darkening but not positive yet. I think I should have one in a couple of days?

I'm thinking so, the evening one is even darker. Not sure if it means much but I have other signs of ovulation approaching so they must be right! I am going to still to try to BD every other day and if it happens more, than that would be good!

So do yours not progress the closer you get towards ovulation? I thought they measured you LH and it gets stronger towards ovulation so that's how you knew?

Mine done, mine where quite stronger yesterday, almost to the point I questioned if they were positive, but they weren't and today they are still there but lighter.... I'm only cd9 today so I no yesterday wasn't positive as cd8 is to early for me

Yea today's is lighter so I am wondering if I will ovulate around 13/14 days this cycle? My period came 28 days this cycle, and is usually 26 days so maybe my cycles are going back to normal like they used to be before my miscarriage in October. It's odd though because I felt O cramping a couple days ago but that would have been way too early. I'll keep testing at least once a day and BD every other day.
