Cervix checkers seriously help lol

After I wash my hands thoroughly, I check my cervix every morning. I have NEVER had this happen!!!

I went to check and the opening has some kind of soft film over the opening!! I am 8 dpo. I'm not necessarily symptom spotting, but I am dying to know what it could mean. Where the opening should be it is very smooth. Cervix is high, too. Please reply!

Try not to symptom spot (I know it's hard) because it'll drive you crazy.

Could be your mucus plug starting to form if you did indeed conceive. Good luck!
