I was just sitting at the computer and got up out of the chair, and all of a sudden I had shooting pain in my cervix that lasted about 10-20 seconds... I am just wondering if anyone else has expeienced this, and if it is something to worry about? I will call my doc if it keeps up... I just dont want to bother her if it is nothing. Thanks!!

Umm, I have it a few times a week. It feels kind of like pinching if that's what you're on about? I had my cervix checked and it's fine

if its wot i get it feels like a mini electric shock, dont know if its the same but it did shock me at first..

It is very normal hun and can be bloody painful too! :hugs:x

I've had those too off and on, they hurt!

Might be your pelvic floor muscles straining too or ligaments that insert at the base of your uterus (broad ligament)

Pretty normal just move deliberately and slowly and the pain shouldnt' be so 'electric' :)

I have it too when I first get out of bed in the morning.:hissy:

i had this and the midwife sed it is actually the baby putting pressure on the nerve endings in the cervix, everytime it kicks u will get these till it gets higher and in a different position! its a good thing shows u are healthy x
