Cervix Position Question After D&C

So I'm on my second cycle after D&C and we're trying, I'm 6 DPO (temping and OPKs) and my cervix is high, hard, and a little open. This is the first time I've checked it since the D&C. It's more open than it was before I was pregnant. Is this just my new permanent normal because of the D&C or am I out this cycle? I know some ladies are slightly open after birth permanently, but since I didn't technically give birth, I'm really confused. Looking for some input please
