cervix question

Last night while I was having a poke around to feel if my coil was still there, I felt a lump on my cervix. Is it normal for a cervix to be lumpy?

I've made an appointment to go and have a smear tommorow because I'm worried

oh yeah, I forgot to add that my last smear test came back 'abnormal' but they said it wasn't anything to worry about.

Sometimes the cervix can develop polyps which are basically excess growths of cervical tissue. I found one a while ago too and was worried, but it has now disappeared. Best to get it checked out if you are worried though.

well, I've now got to wait two weeks for the results. Hopefully it'll all be ok

Got my results today ------ NORMAL!!!!!! Hurray!!!!

And my coil fell out today. I think it's a sign that I'm ready for another baby. OH disagrees.
