* *Hi everyone, I'm new to here and all, but I need someone to shine some light on me today. I'm normally a 28 day cycle. maybe one day off here and there, rarely. What's the chance that I will conceive if I dtd on cd11, cd12, and cd14. I hope the sperm meets the egg in time! I'm now on cd15. I'm not able to do it right now until another week. 😞😔 but, what do you think my chances are of conceiving? The reason I ask this is Bc this is our 2nd month trying, I have a 3 year old and we got pregnant without trying. And last month we dtd 2 days before ovulation and I didn't get pregnant? Can someone help me out! Thanks!!

Can't really tell you what your chances are, but it sounds promising :dust:. Have you tried using opks like wondfo?

It really just depends when you ovulate. Your chances are good if you can BD in the day or days immediately prior to ovulation with maybe one extra time on O day for good measure. But that all entirely depends on when ovulation happens for you, as there's no guarantee it would happen at the midpoint of your cycle (even with a 28 day cycle, you could ovulate on CD12 or CD17). With my first, O day was usually around CD16. With her, I got pregnant having sex on CD13, 14 and 16. With my last two pregnancies, O has been at CD14. The first time we did it CD12 and 13. And this time, CD13 and 14. So I would say if your ovulation in CD13 or 14, then it's good timing. If it's later and not until CD16 or 17, not as ideal. It really just depends on your body and your cycle.

I always t thought that with a 28-day cycle you ovulate on cycle day 14?

That's the "average" but you don't really know unless you use opks. Like for me I have a 31 day cycle but a 10 day luteal phase. If i went based on the calculated ovulation day for a 31 day cycle, it would be incorrect.

you can ovulate at just about any point in your cycle. you should use opks or start temping.

If you can manage, I would start temping and using opks. Temping seems to be the most accurate way that we can detect when we release our eggs. I will be new to temping as well.
