I just know I am building my hopes up for a big fall but had lap and dye 2 weeks ago, tubes all ok, small amount of endo removed and one ovary drilled - I'm good to go and think ovulation should be about now...

Anyhooooo, just after any success stories following lap and dye to keep me going!

Anyone?

:dust:

I have heard people say that sometimes the actual procedure sometime does the job! Good luck!

When I had this done, there was a little hope that if there were any blockages, that it would be minor enough for the lap to clear. Unfortunately both were too blocked. But! A lap does it for some people!!

wish there was more info on this as im dying to know the conception rates after a lap! heard it improves conception chances by 75% for 36 weeks following the op!

:dust:

Hopefully I'll be getting a L&D this month, so I'm a bit like you right now, hoping it will do the trick

Hey, fingers crossed it will sort us all out and we can join Miel!!! :)

Hope so! I'm waiting for the date for my lap & dye (plus ovarian drilling) so hoping it will be the answer for me...and for all you other girls that have had or are having one xxx

I have also heard that chances of conceiving ar improved for 3-6 months following a L&D. But I would also be interested to know if the process stimulates the ovaries in some way to produce more than 1 egg per cycle....

fingers crossed for all us post lap and dye girlies!!

Fingers crossed for you, alot of people have fallen after a lap and dye xx

I had Lap and Dye done 3 months ago - sadly it hasn't helped me get our BFP yet :hissy:

FS told us that he has seen many couple's get their BFP within 3 months after lap and dye - he explained that L&D increases natural fertility for upto 3 months after the op and that he hoped it would work for us.

I really hope it works for you ladies xx

Hi Ladies

I was LTTC with PCOS and had a Lap and Dye in November 2007 before begining the next round of fertility treatment in January 2008. This was after 6 rounds of clomid at various different levels that did nothing for me, just the horrible side effects.

28 days (totally unheard of for me) after the Lap & Dye I had a very heavy period and was able to start the Gonal F injections with IUI process.

I strongly believe that the Lap & Dye helped play a big part in getting my BFP and have heard of a number of people that the actual procedure by itself works for them.

Wishing you all the best.

xx

Hello Bexy

i am due to have a lap and dye and ovarian drilling on the 18th April i have to say i am terrified, how did you feel after it all, were you in much pain?

i think it is the being knocked out bit, i can just about have a blood test, i just hope i am working myself up for nothing.

i so hope the procedure helps you.

did your consultant tell you how long to wait before you can baby dance?

I have also heard that lap & dye does improve chances but i had a lap & dye in November and still nothing  Hope you get your :bfp: :hugs:

hopeandfaith when i had my lap & dye, i was also very scared but it turned out to be OK. You will feel pain after you wake up but they give you pain killers so its really ok. You just have to take it easy for few days afterwards.
:hugs:

:hugs: I had my lap & dye in January, i am petrified of needles and being knocked out, so i told them and they gave my gas to knock me out before any needles came near me. The anaesthetist was so kind, its def worth mentioning. :hugs:

I wasn't in alot of pain, it was mostly uncomfortable more than anything else. Make sure you take it easy though as it effects a part of our bodies that i don't think we realise how much we bend & flex. Well worth resting up for a few days :hugs:

Thanks Butterflies and big foot for your replies. How long did you wait before your were ok to baby dace, and did it make your periods more regular?
