Upon inquiry with my OB/GYN, I am normal. Upon speaking with my husbands urologist, he states that my husbands semen is normal, however we have been unable to conceive? Based on the semen results what are your thoughts?

Age:37
Duration of abstinence: 2 days
Appearance: Normal
Liquefaction:Normal
Consistency: Normal
Volume: 4.0 ml
PH: 8.3
Motility: 55%
Viability: 50%
Leukocytes: 6-25/hpf
Fructose:positive
Sperm Concentration: 27.5 million per ml
Total Sperm Number: 110 million
Morphology: 17.3% normal forms (Based on WHO manual)
Other: Occasional red blood cells and epithelial cells present, some clumping of cells and sperm noted.

Thats a normal sperm count, so now they need to start testing on you if they have not already, CD 21 bloods to confirm your ovulating CD 3 bloods to check FSH TSH E2 AHM ect. HSG test to rule out blocked tubes. check for hostile cm. however there can be nothing wrong and it can still take a while to conceive but if you have been trying with good timing for 1 year + then its best to get in for a fertility workup I recommend seeing a reproductive endocrinologist rather then a OB/GYN.
