Changing her nappy during the night

I stopped doing this before she turned 1 as shes an awful sleeper and changing her nappy made no difference

however she started sleeping 4 hr blocks which was lovely. then this week shes waking every hour-teething obviously but shes also waking with a nappy heavier than she is haha

im thinking i should change it in the night i can never remember me being so brain dead and all


anyone else still changing LO nappy in the night at 17 months?

Omar was waking up at night at that age. If his nappy was full I used to change it when he wakes up as he used to ask for milk some nights. If I don't we used to end up with a massive leak in the morning.

If Thomas wakes during the night now (very rare) he will usually ask for his nappy to be changed, I guess it's uncomfortable. Usually he sleeps through and in that case I don't change him during the night obviously.

Omar also asks for a nappy change if he wakes up at night. Now he's dry at night, so I don't bother about changing his nappy unless he wakes up, as he wees as soon as he wakes up & takes few sips of water.

omar is 2!!!!!! wowza how fast has that gone!


ty ladies shall do it tonight she wakes every 3 hrs usually every hour when teething shes been ok till 3am when its every 30 mins till finally waking at 7!

I would if it was heavy - I would worry that she would wake up early in the morning if it was uncomfortable

Unless she wakes or if I can smell that it needs changing otherwise I leave her til the morning x
