can you change milk straight away or have you got to wait..

ashtons currently on sma hungry baby... he was on normal sma gold.. but wasnt feeding him enough so midwife suggested hungry baby..

but he doesnt seem to be settling very well and wanting food more often..

a few people have said about changing it to cow and gate hungry baby one?

was just wondering if this will make a difference and if i can do it straight away??

xx

i would say its ok to do straight away. just keep an eye on him make sure he's ok. but i dont think it would unsettle him too much. we changed noahs milk when he was a few weeks old and he was fine

good luck

i need help with this...
kiree i appreciate your input but i'd like a few other opinions too..
i've run out of milk now. got anough for 3 bottles left. and i'm going out in a bit... so i would just like to know if its deffo ok to do this..
or do i need to consult the health visitor first...

xx

You can change whenever you like hun, and my HV was useless when I asked about changing milks, they dont really care until they stop gaining weight every week.

If you've used a whole tin then you've probably given that one a good go for him so if he's still unsettled then introducing another milk couldn't do much harm, just be prepared that he might still be unsettled on the new one, one of my friends went through loads of different brands and types of milk until she found one that suited her LO

changing milk is fine, its jst like choosing between utterly buttery and i cant believe its not butter - same thing but sligt variation between brands
