chart help - please

I dont normally temp as my cycles are pretty much non existent (either none all year or every 60 days with clomid which im no longer on). however i started in metformin 1000mg a few months back and had AF 28 days after the last one, so i temped since then, but i dont see much of a change in temps at all throughout the whole month and now they are gradually dropping.........i dont understand charting at all....can anyone givem me some adivce on any issues you see with the chart?

Hey hun,

You need to temp at the same time everyday, fertility meds or not. When you O you should see a rise in your temps. Most have a dip in the temp the day of O. You can check my sigi to see what I mean. I haven't charted for this cycle or the last, but I have few charts there that show what they call a biphasic pattern...low temps before O, high temps after O. This is an indicator of O. The way your chart looks now could be an indicator of an issue such as pcos, but you have a lot of open circles which FF will tell you is a discrepency, so it's hard to say what your chart is really doing. Your temp will stay elevated throughtout your entire LP. If you are not preggo they will start to drop a couple days before af.

thanks so much, i do try do it within half of an hour same time ( i think sometimes i just record it late so goes down as wrong time) and i did miss one day as i just totally forgot.
i just thought my temps seem so low and there isnt much variation throughout the whole month....i do have pcos......thanks for your information though...im not very good at all this temping and i know there are loads of ladies who are really good at it and i was just after some advice
