Hi Everyone,

I've not been round a lot recently just lurking but I'm using the duofertility monitor and this is my first full cycle on it. I used it for about 3/4 of my previous cycle. To my surprise it forecast when I would be fertile and following my fertile period it confirmed ovulation. Of course we BD'd in the right window and according to when I ovulated I'm now almost three weeks late but have had 2 :bfn:

Can someone have a look at my chart please and tell me what they think? The green shaded days is my fertile period and the day with a line on it is the day I apparently ovulated.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts :flower:

looking at that chart I dont think you ovulated
you did have the rise for a couple days after when you think you may have Od.....but then it dropped and it looks like it stayed below where the coverline would be

I would agree with NGRidley.
Though I can see why it thinks you ovulated on the suggested day due to the rise however you only had high temps for 4 days after before it dropped back down and stayed there.
Do you usually have regular cycles? or long cycles at all?

Based on your temps - I would think you didn't ovulate either... hope you get some answers hun.

Thanks ladies, I didn't think I ovulated either as I didn't have any other signs at all but just wanted other opionons as I have never charted before. It appears though that my body did gear up to ovulate but didn't actually do it maybe?! As my emp is rising I do wonder if my body is trying to again but it is obviously confused!

Fluffystar - my cycles are always long and can be irregular, I can have 2 or 3 rgular cycles and then a long one like this and blood tests have indicated I don't ovulate but I think it is more irregular ovulation. I'm hoping this monitor will give me answers long term.

Thanks again :flower:

I used to have very irregular cycles before I started going for accupuncture. My gp had said that on the long cycles (~50 to 60 days) I probably wasnt ovulating however it was only through charting that I could understand hat was happening and that I always ovulated. My body seemed to gear up for O and I got fertile signs (such as EWCM) but then it all went away.

I have pasted one of my old charts below which showed my body gearing up for O first around day 17 (which is now the normal time for me inmy shorted cycles), and then again at 26, 34 and then finally trying againg and Oing around day 40. Its clear that I did as all the temps stay elevated above a coverline.

I hope this helps. You should get loads of info from temps and hopefuly get some understanding of what your body is doing. I would also recommend accupuncture for regulating cycles. I found the long cycles a nightmare as you never know if you will actually Ov after doing lots of BDing and it becomes quite disheartening.
