Charting cycles after IUD removal?

Hi ladies! I had my mirena taken out on May 12th after a year of use. Too many side effects and had complications! Anyway...my first cycle was 38 days after my initial bleed when it was removed. Started again June 19th and I'm now on day 35 and still no period. Any advice on how or when you regulated again? Hubby and I aren't trying to prevent or conceive. I'm new to charting as well and use an app, I'm not entirely thrilled with so any advice there either? I've learned the importance of charting temps, my first chart I've just my cervical fluid and other symptoms/days had intercourse. And I guess my main question is, how many more days would you give before taking a home pregnancy test? If last cycle was 38 days, maybe day 39? Any IUD stories welcome!! Thanks in advance.
