Chemical pregnancy and tampons

I'm just wondering if it's okay to use tampons ?
I started heavily bleeding yesterday at only 5 weeks pregnant and today I'm bleeding still and my pregnancy tests are negative . After yesterday's tests being positives but the FRER test was much fainter then my BFPs last week.
I know it's over and I'm tired of bleeding everywhere through my underwear etc.
I just want to go on like its a normal period .

First off so sorry for your loss From what I read(I was wondering the same) it said that your cervix. Opens to have the miscarriage and you may have to worry about infection so I'm sticking to pads just to be safe

I suspected that .. I was also just reading up on it found the same kind of information. Sucks .. I hope it ends soon.

I had a chemical pregnancy at 5 weeks as well...I used tampons, but the period was SUPER HEAVY!!! Probably best too stick with pads as you may have tissue and clots coming out.....my experience anyways...The bleeding stopped about 10-12 days later for me
