Max has had a bad chesty cough for a few days now. He can't keep liquid down so we're feeding him 1oz every 20 minutes, when he'll take it of course. He's completely lost his appetite and we've not given him any solids as they always make him vomit. He's only keeping down about 8oz of formula a day.

I am taking him to the doctors tomorrow, but he's gone from pooing normally to doing 3 today and they've now turned runny and green.
Is this the chest infection perhaps?

Sounds like its from the mucus and stuff he has swallowed from the chest infection, green foul smelling poo is normal at the end of nearly all infections its where the body is just having a toxic clearout.

Hopefully he should be back to normal very soon but take him along to the dr anyway as they have some suggestion about his lack of milk intake like vitamin supplements till hes back on track.

Update:

Took Max to the doctors this morning as he also had a red rash on his chest and wasn't much better. He has bronchiolitis and was sent down to A&E at the Childrens Hospital.

He was checked over and given an inhaler as it seemed to improve his chest. He managed to keep down his food all day until he just vomitted over himself in the bath. He's still lethargic, but is a real fighter. Bless him

Have they given him any antibiotics or anything to help clear it up? My LO has been I'll with chest problems recently and has lost weight through not eating, my HV recomended giving a vitamin suppliment. Hope he's better soon x
