hello everyone right i am meant to be goin out on wednesday night with my mums friend and her son but her daughter has got chickenpox. should io avoid going to keep baby safe as the little boy could have it and the spots havent come out your thoughts please guys xxxx

Right, if you have had chicken pox and so has her Mum then technically you should be OK as neither of you will be a carrier (I say technically as it is possible to get it twice). Just do not go near the little boy. x

If you have had chicken pox before you should be ok. As Tam said you can get chicken pox more than once my 9 year old son has had them 3 times.

I would stay away - chicken pox can be danegrous when pregnant no?
I would steer clear.

thanks for your views and ideas luckily i have made an appointment with my midwife on wednesday morning to check but all the sights i have checked and my books say if u have had it you and baby should be fine x

update

my midwife says because i have had chickenpox there is no risk to the baby xxx very happy as we are goiong to see mamma mia i can still go. xxx
