Child Benefit Question

So we've finally applied for our 2nd child to be added onto our current claim (13.40 weekly i think) a year late

We sent it off 1 month ago. Anyone know how long this'll take as we've received no letter, they send back birth certificate and a week later said they lost it and need it again so ive re-sent it (10 days ago)?

Its annoying me waiting for it now....

They're normally pretty quick at doing things I found, they only back date a month now though I think so you won't get the year backdated, although I would hope they would back date from when they first received your letter as it is their fault they misplaced their copy of the certificate.
