Just wanted to know whats the most income u get in and can still get child tax credits weve been told our income was 29,000 and im not working now does that mean we wont get anything, we already get no help i dont no how much more i can take, feeling so down :'-(

Looking at it all myself too.... https://www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcredits/...-tables/work-and-child/work-no-childcosts.htm

Looks like you are right at the bottom end there and can get the least amount????

I have no idea at the momemt either

Thank you starting to lose fate and hate my country :-( i have never felt this way

We only have one child so looks like we get nothing its only my oh that works now were struggling so much im in tears i dred cooking dinner as got hardly anything

I'm sure you can get it upto 40k a year...I assume you are claiming HB, council tax benefit, child benefit too?

I dont no of it's changed but when we had our first because our income had dropped from 31000 ( both working full time ) to 24000 ( me only getting SMP ) instead of calculating how m we were entiltled by last tax year they calculated it using the lower income of that tax year

Is the 29000 last tax year income? If it is ring them and tell them you won't make that much this year

On the site it says for 30,000 or more u have to have 2 children before u get anything, all we get is child benefit of £20 a week

Yeah it is we got a letter stating it this morning and it wont change till next year so may get a tiny bit then but thats a long time to wait
