Child Tax Credits Stopped April 2012

Hi All,

Just received our letter saying that child tax credits are going to stop in April 2012.

To be honest we only get about £30 a month, but I thought we would have a higher threshold because our oldest son is on middle care disability. I was told the threshold we have was £30200 because we have 2 children.

Does anyone know if this is right.

I've not receive one but I'm guessing it's on its way! I was told that the joint income limit had been reduced to £26k. Not sure what happens with disability.

I would say give them a phone but that probably won't get you any further x

Yeah that's right if you have 1 child, and then £32,200 if you have 2.

Oh so it's higher if you have 2 children? Phew, that makes me feel better x
