ETA this is about makeup on children, please leave katie price out of it! ;)
i edited this post,so its my own fault she is discussed in the first replies. but id rather we discuss makeup on children than katie price. thanks and sorry :)

I dont agree with it, they have plenty of time for that when they grow up....let them be kids! :nope:

I think shes an idiot and dont agree either.

Children are being forced to grow up far too quickly.

x

But there is already make-up out there aimed at kids? Glitter lip-glosses etc,and im sure Bratz did some make-up of some sort!! Its nothing new  i dont agree with it,but like she has been quoted saying, she is only doing it coz she has been out of the papers for a few weeks. If she's not in the papers she's not making money!!

I don't really mind kids wearing makeup when theyre playing and dressingup. Little girls do it  and enjoy it. I remember wearing my mums makeup when I was tiny. + I'd rather she wore higher quality stuff on her skin than cheap play makeup thatd prob give her a rash.

I'm sure it's not for everyday use.. bring on the katie price hater squad

I played with make up when i was younger (maybe 6ish?) my gran bought me proper make up though just basic stuff like powder, lipstick, blusher and a few eye shadows and i loved it! I can remember spending hours playing with my friends and doing "make overs" but i knew it was only for play and i never argued to wear it out. I dont see the harm in it to be honest. x

All little girls want to try on Mummy's lip stick and eye shadow - on the rare occaision i don't see the problem. If it became a regular thing - i wouldn't allow it x

If the little girl wanted to wear the make up all day every day and the parents allow it then no I don't think its right.. however, if its for playing dress up or something like that, I don't see much harm. I used to wear my mums make up when I wanted to play dress up. Obviously at the age of two, that might be a little bit too young.

When its just for fun then its fine .. i did it as a kid, like wearing high heals and dressing up,
Its just roll play etc.

I dont like to see little girls with 'proper' make up on but my 7 year old has always loved to mess with make up.

Her she is at about 5 years old ... not doing the best of jobs but she has soo much fun! to her its more like face painting than putting make up on.

To them its not to improve their appearance or anything .. its just fun.

I used to always play with kiddie make up from when i was really young! Really bright childrens make up but it always made me come out in a rash.Anyone remember the Avon Little Blossom range? Lipstick, perfume and peel off nail varnish.I loved that :)

I think it's fine for using as play but not for everyday wear or wearing out and about really.

That said,i don't have a daughter and maybe my views would be different if i did?

I think abit of play makeup is great is long as they don't get obsessed about it:)

meh! if it's just playing I don't see the problem, I had make up when I was little. If they were being tarted up by a parent on a day to day basis then thats wrong

My older daughter loves make up just for fun when she's playing dress up

i dont see the harm in it just because one now has katie price's name attached now there all the uproar with the media saying it wrong! i used to do it when i was little i dont see why people would not be ok its just like putting a fairy outfit on IMO x

Carly has that makeup set! she has lots of makeup more then i do actaully !

She loves dressing up even Ella wears it! Before i get jumped on its for dress up purposes only around the house. They have so much fun with it , i dont see the harm tbh!

i had loads of play make up as a kid too! if it's for play i really don't see the harm in it, i completely agree with kay ^

i also agree that for fun/playing/in the house is all good.
but i disagree with using it properly, wearing mascara, and wearing it in public.
because makeup to me is to make a woman look prettier/more beautiful and a little girl doesnt need that unless shes just having some fun :)

It's dress up play, they are not glamourising themselves for a night on the town! Me and my sister always had sets like this when we were kids, they have been around forever. It seems to me that it's only now Katie Price is involved with it that people have a problem.

I have this AMAZING photo somewhere of my youngest sister a few xmas's ago when she got a glitter make up set. She was all quiet then bursts into the room completely covered in glitter and lippy. She had even drawn a butterfly on her face. She thought it was fabulous :D

Children's make up is fine when they are indoors and just playing. I am sure most of us had make up as a child, I know I had a Tinkerbell make up set. I don't see the problem!

I think for use in the home or playing dress up is fine. I don't agree with young girls wearing mascara weather for dress up or not but that's just my personal opinion. I can't see why there's anything wrong with a bit of OTT blusher and lipstick that ends up on the cheeks. Infact I think its quite cute lol. But for going out then like the rest of you I think it's wrong.. No matter who's name is on the box
