I always wear mine with my Converse or Toms.
And top wise,I have a blue and white striped top that goes nicely or a grey t-shirt

I would wear a loose top either a blouse or just a baggy top and brouges too i would say

I would wear a vest top or fitted t shirt tucked in with a really thick knit cardigan and brogues.
